My product review
I must say that for owners of Apple products is a good accessory, but for owners of Android devices, the key is useless. However you can use it as an external storage of a PC with the USB port.
But with an iPhone or iPad, the product makes sense because it serves as interaction between a PC (or Mac) and a device with a Lightning port.
For the key work on your Apple device, you have to download an application that is called "Emtec Connect".
In fact you do not need software with the USB port but the port for the Lightning this is mandatory if the key will not be recognized by your device.
