The button and the doorbell apply the same encoding-decoding codes(please refer to the codes written on the plastic shells). The button adopts a piece of 12V (23A-model) Battery and the bell uses 3 pieces of 1.5V AA batteries.
Fix the button on the wall near the door with either screws, glass glue or dual-side sponge adhesive paper and we recommend to fix it away from rainwater.
The button Should not be fixed close to any kind of metal. You Can use a hair-drier to dry the button if water got into it.
