It supports max/min/dif/avg measurement mode selection, high/low temperature alarm setup, data hold function, conversion of Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature, backlight display for use in poor light areas as well as laser guided sighting system for easy targeting.
Moreover, it will automatically shut off when there is no operation in a few seconds.
The emissivity is adjustable from 0.10 to 1.00, too!
